Configuring the WebSphere server transaction timeouts

To configure the server transaction timeouts

1. In the left navigation pane of the main console window, select Servers > Server Types > WebSphere Application Servers.
2. In the Application servers window, click server1.
3. In the Container settings options on the right, select Container Services > Transaction Service.
4. In the Application servers > server1 > Transaction service  window, specify the following values:
   • Total Transaction Lifetime timeout: 60000 secs
   • Maximum Transaction timeout: 30000 secs
5. Click OK.
6. Click Save.

Optional step

As an option, you can configure the IBM WebSphere application server to work with BMC Atrium Single Sign-on (SSO) Server.
