Adding report users
can display reports in multiple languages. If your system supports a language into which has been translated, you can create a Report User for that locale in SAP BusinessObjects software and set up the reporting environment for configuring and generating reports.
You can add a Report User at any time. The Report User must have the same user name as that defined in BMC Remedy Action Request System (AR System) for
. You must use the same user name to create a report user in the Business Objects server and in the Administrative interface.For every Report User that you create in BusinessObjects, repeat the following procedure to add the report user to the application.
To add a new Report User
- In the Administration navigation pane, select Report Settings.
The Report Users pane appears, as shown in the following figure:
- Click New.
The New Report User pane appears, as shown in the following figure:
- In Username, enter the user name that was created in BusinessObjects, typically when the was installed.
- From the Locale list, select a language.
This list includes only languages that are enabled on the server. - In Date Format, enter the date format that you want to use on the reports (for example, mm/dd/yyyy).
- In Description, provide additional information, such as text that will assist the user to select a Report User.
- Click Save.
