Allen uses the link feature in the Related Changes tab of a Project Details page to browse and link to all relevant operational changes in the BMC Remedy Change Management application. He can then track the status of all the changes from within the project.

  • Allen uses BMC IT Business Management Suite to plan and manage the maintenance release of Calbro internal search mechanism.
  • All operational changes related to internal search mechanism are logged in the BMC Remedy Change Management application.
  • To plan more efficiently, Allen needs to track operational change request information for maintenance release from within the project.
  • He uses the Link option in the Related Changes tab in BMC IT Business Management Suite to browse all changes that are logged in the BMC Remedy Change Management application and select the changes that are related to the maintenance release.
  • The changes are linked to the project in BMC IT Business Management Suite and the software automatically creates a project task for each change request.
  • Allen tracks the status of the operational changes from within BMC IT Business Management System and adjusts the project lifecycle accordingly.
