Deploying new ERP solution for the company

The following describes the typical steps involved in this user scenario: 

 

  • A deployment project called Calbro_ERP_deploy is initiated, planned and managed in BMC IT Business Management System.
  • Mary Mann, who is the project manager, identifies several complex tasks in the project that need operational changes.
  • Mary initiates change requests in the Calbro_ERP_deploy project in BMC IT Business Management Suite.
  • BMC IT Business Management Suite automatically creates a change request in BMC Remedy Change Management.
  • BMC IT Business Management Suite also creates project tasks related to the change requests and lists them with other project tasks for the Calbro_ERP_deploy project.
  • Allen Allbrook, who is the change manager then picks up the change requests in BMC Remedy Change Management and plans accordingly.
  • Mary tracks the status of the change requests in BMC IT Business Management Suite.
  • Once a change request is complete in BMC Remedy Change Management, the status of change request in BMC IT Business Management Suite is displayed as Complete.
