Use the procedure in this topic to view the details of a project.
To view the details of a project
The Lifecycle tab displays the phases and required steps within each phase across the life of a selected Project. On this screen, you can quickly view the status of the Project and information that can help you determine what to do next. The lifecycle documented in this guide is one example of a project lifecycle. Your system administrator can configure project lifecycle templates that reflect the practices and governance processes of your IT organization.
When you navigate through the project lifecycle phases, the general project details and the lifecycle overview remain on the screen while the details of any step you select are displayed below.
On the Project Details screen, you can view most of the current data for a Project by clicking the All tab. This view is convenient for printing Project details. To return to the overview, click the Lifecycle tab. The two views give you access to the same data. Click the Project name on any screen that displays it, including the Home page (if the Project is one of your selected Key Projects) and the Projects window. The first window to appear is the Project Details window, which provides basic project information, an overview of the project lifecycle, and navigation to additional screens with further project details.
