Deleting a project

If required, you can inactivate a project in

. However in rare cases when you decide to delete a project instead of inactivating it, the following restrictions apply to the deletion of Projects.

  • You can delete a Project only if it has no relationship to another Project in the

    . To delete a Project that has dependencies on other Projects, you must first remove the dependent relationships. If you try to delete a Project with dependencies, a message appears that identifies any existing dependent relationships. The message includes links that you can follow to remove the relationships.
  • If timecarding is enabled, you cannot delete a Project that is selected on a Timecard.
