Copying project portfolios


You can use the copy option of

to copy an existing project portfolio. If the portfolio contains a scenario, that information (including target dates, target finances, target labor, and scenario ranking) is also copied over.

Use a copy of a portfolio to compare and contrast several versions of a project scenario. For example, "What does the 'In' total look like if we include these seven projects versus those ten projects?".
Although you cannot create scenarios from a dynamic portfolio, you can use the Copy Portfolio option to create a copy of the dynamic portfolio, and then convert the copied portfolio to a static portfolio so that you can create an investment scenario.
To copy a portfolio, use the Copy option at the top of the Project Portfolio Details page.
