Deployment architecture

This section provides information on how to maximize the performance and scalability of your BMC IT Business Management Suite production environment. The information in this section are best practices that BMC determined after conducting quantitative, comprehensive lab tests in well-controlled environments. These performance and scalability best practices cover a wide range of data such as:

  • Configurations for choosing required hardware systems
  • Configuration for separating multiple tiers onto multiple physical systems and properly configuring each tier
  • Tuning each component of the product with configuration parameters that impact the performance and scalability of the overall deployment significantly
  • Representative performance numbers
