Verifying the WebSphere application deployment

  1. Open a web browser and type the following URL in the address bar: 

    http://<hostName>:<portNumber>/itm
    • hostName: Server on which you installed the WebSphere Application Server. If you are configuring WebSphere on the same computer on which you installed it, you can use localhost for the hostName.
    • portNumber: Number of the port

  2. Use the bootstrap user and password, itmadm and itmadmin, to log on to the application. 

    Note

    The itmadm user is created for the sample tenant company called ITBM Company. To use the itmadm user for your company, you must change the tenant company information for itmadm from ITBM Company to your company. You can use the People form in BMC Remedy Action Request (AR) System to update the company information.
