Setting the default exchange rate table version


  1. In the Administration navigation pane, select Financial Settings > Exchange Rate Tables.
  2. In the Exchange Rate Tables pane, select the appropriate option:
    • Latest (default):

      uses the latest exchange rate table version according to the effective fiscal periods. If you create a new exchange rate table that has an effective fiscal period that is later than any existing exchange rate table, the new version automatically becomes the active default.
    • Specify: Use the chooser to select the exchange rate table.

      uses the specified exchange rate table until a different table is selected.
  3. Click Save and Refresh Cache to save your selection.

When you change the default exchange rate table version,

updates all the cached values that are based on the rates in that table. This action runs as a background process, so all affected panes do not update immediately. You can continue to work in the application, but performance might be affected. The update process could take from several minutes to several hours.
