Customizing terms and fields


Typically, a BMC Customer Support representative assists you with your customization efforts, such as term substitution, modifying field labels as they appear in the user interface, and implementing flex fields. These procedures are not part of the normal administrator interface, but they are documented here for the advanced administrator.

Note

If your installation is configured to support multiple languages, you can translate terms and fields. Select another locale on your Home page, and then follow the procedures in this section. When you modify terms and field labels, enter their translations. A user who selects the same alternative locale will see the translated text.
