Configuring alarms
To update configuration values
You can select a configuration from the list, update its value, and then save it to apply the changes.
Use the following table to understand the available application configurations and how to update their values.
Configuration name | How to update | Available values |

Resolve incident with active tasks | Click the icon to toggle between the available values. | -True -False |
Resolve parent and child incidents | Toggle the Enable Parent-Child Resolution button, then select a value from the dropdown. | -Children resolve parent -Parent resolves children

After you complete the resolve parent and child incidents configuration, when you relate another incident from the Related items tab of an existing incident, the option of Parent of or Child of is displayed under Relationship type. For more information, see Adding-related-items-to-an-incident-ticket.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
