Assigning roles and permissions
BMC Helix Multi-Cloud Broker provides the following user roles to manage access to various functionality:

To assign BMC Helix Multi-Cloud Broker user permissions
- As an administrator, log in to BMC Helix Innovation Studio.
- Click the Administration tab.
In the Settings pane, select Foundation Data > Manage People > Agents.
- To add a new user and provide required permissions, click New and fill out the required fields.
- To update permissions for an existing user, select the agent record and click Edit.
- Click Access Details and add from the Functional Roles field, select the functional role you want to assign to the agent.
- Additionally, for Multi-cloud service admin add the following details:
- Enable the Tenant Admin option.
From the Application Licenses field, select Innovation Suite User Named.
- Click Save.

Licensing BMC Helix Multi-Cloud Broker enables you to:
- Control access to your application.
- Protect the intellectual property of your organization.
- Reduce management costs, and adhere to your organization's compliance policies.
To use BMC Helix Multi-Cloud Broker, a BMC administrator assigns an application license to a tenant. A tenant administrator need not assign individual licenses to users.
