Defining mappings

You can define mappings between the parameters defined on the Command Parameter form and the Interface Form that you have specified on the Application Registry form.

To define mappings

  1. On the Define Commands and Command Parameters form, select the command for which you want to define mappings.

  2. Click Create and enter information in the following fields:

    Field name or area

    Description

    App Registry Name

    Select the application that you have registered on the Application Registry form.

    Command

    Use the selected command or select a command that you have defined.

    Status

    Select a status.

    Parameter

    Select a parameter that you have defined for the selected command on the Command Parameters form.

    Application Fields

    Map to an appropriate field on the Application Registry form:

    • App Interface Form—This form is TMS:Task.
    • Field Name—Select the field to which to map.
    • Field ID—The field ID is automatically filled in when you select a field name.

    Data Tags

    For internal use only.

  3.  Click Save.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
