Known Error SOAP web services
You can use the interface forms in Problem Management to:
- Create or modify a known error
- Query a known error or a list of known errors
To submit known error entries, open the PBM:ProblemInterface_Create form. This interface form uses shared fields between problem investigation and known error entries. You can also create a work information entry when creating or modifying a known error record. When you successfully create a known error entry, the web services returns the newly created known error ID. The interface forms are as follows:
- Interface Create form
- The KnownError_Submit_Service function creates and submits known errors with work information and CI associations.
- Interface form
- The KnownError_Modify_Service function modifies known errors with work information.
- The KnownError_Query_Service and KnownError_QueryList_Service functions allow searches for specific known errors (using the query service) or a set of known errors (using the query list service).
- The KnownError_GetWorkInfoList function retrieves a list of work info records for a list of known errors.
- Relationship Interface form
- The GetListOfRelatedKnownErrors function retrieves a list of related known errors.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
