Viewing the service request that initiated a change request


When a user submits a service request from which BMC Service Request Management subsequently generates a change request, you can view information about the originating request from the Change Request form. The information available includes the date on which the service request was submitted, who submitted it, and the related company. You can also view information about approvers, an activity log, and process flow diagram showing the status of the request.

  1. Open a Change Request form.
  2. In the navigation pane, click Functions > View <Service Request ID>.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
