Broadcasting a CI

By using broadcast CI, you can send messages related to the CI to your entire organization, selected groups within the organization, and to external  customers.

To broadcast a CI

  1. Open a CI, as described in Searching for records in the application consoles.
  2. From the navigation pane, select Functions > Broadcast CI.
    The CI is broadcasted. If you define a broadcast message from a CI, a relationship is generated between the broadcast message and the CI.


 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
