Impact Simulator configuration settings
If you are in a server group environment, select the required AR System server from the Select Server list. If you have a stand-alone environment, the required server name is automatically displayed. The following table describes the available configuration parameters:
Parameter | Description | Default Value | Setting name in Centralized Configuration |
---|---|---|---|
Time for SIM Cache Removal | Use this parameter to modify the time in minutes for which the simulation remains in the memory after the simulation has been performed. | 60 | BMC.ARDBC.ATRIUM.AIS.userDefined.time_for_sim_cache_removal |
Store simulation information in the database | If the value is set to True (Default), the information is stored in the database and is accessible across all the pods. If it is set to False, the simulation results and CI information are stored in the main memory. Important: Only the SaaS Admin can set this value to False by using the service pipeline. Impact simulation will run on a single pod when the value is changed to False. | True | BMC.ARDBC.ATRIUM.AIS.userDefined.DBStorage |
Enable sorting for the Name column | Use this parameter to enable sorting on the Name column in the AIS:Main form while simulating impact. Set the value to 4000 to match with the length of the column name field length. | 255 | arsystem.table_column_max_sort_size |
