Managing service impact


BMC Helix CMDB provides some in-built rules that help you manage impact relationships for CIs. Additionally, you can define your own impact rules, specific to your enterprise. This helps you normalize service impact more efficiently.

The following topics explain how the Normalization Engine handles service impact, and how you can create new impact rules.
