P11 - Ratio of Problems to Incidents


This report shows, for a specified time period and company, the ratio of problems to incidents for a given month. The report shows the trend in the monthly ratios.

Usage

Executives and managers can use this report to evaluate the overall health and quality of their IT services and evaluate whether the number of incidents is decreasing over time.

Report assumptions

  • The problems with problem reported on date and incidents with incidents reported on date within the reporting period are selected.
  • The ratio of problems to incidents is equal to the number of problems opened in month divided by the number of incidents opened in month.
