P01 - Number of Problems by Status and by Impact


This report shows, for a specified company, the number of problems for a given time period by their status and severity.

The Summary tab shows the data in a three-dimensional column chart. The cross-tab table below the chart contains the number of incidents broken down by status and impact. The Detail tab lists the details of the problems; for each problem, the table includes the status, impact, problem ID, problem summary, priority, investigation driver, support group name, and reported on date.

Usage

This is an operational summary report used by operational managers and service desk analysts that provides a quick summary of problem information. This report provides data useful for Problem Management meetings between Service Management staff and representatives from various support groups.

Report assumptions

Problems with problem reported on date that are within the reporting period are selected. Problems are then broken out by status and impact.
