CLM02 - Details of compute pool by pod

The report shows, by location or pod, the total quantity and capacity of resources configured and online in each compute pool, along with the total number of deployed servers (virtual or otherwise).

The details include the pod name, location, number of CPUs, pool name, and the amount of memory (GB) for related pools. For each compute pool, the report provides a total resource count, along with the total number of available CPUs and Memory. The report also shows how many deployed servers (virtual or physical) are live in each compute pool.

Usage

The cloud administrator can use this report to gain an understanding of the distribution of resources among compute resource pools in a pod, along with the current load as measured in active server instances deployed in each computing pool. This allows the administrator to help plan the distribution of services into different pools and expansion across pools and locations.

Report assumptions

The resource type identifies whether the resource count is for a virtual cluster, virtual host, or physical server.
