C04a - Staleness Analysis of Discovery Data

This report provides an analysis of CI discovery data. The report enables you to identify those CIs that have remained undiscovered by any discovery agents during the previous scans. All the CIs are grouped into various time intervals by last scan date. Drill-downs show the CIs belonging to various time intervals.

Usage

Use this report to determine the time period when the CIs were last scanned (for example, more than 5 days ago or today). You can compare the last scanned dataset with the latest dataset to determine if any CIs were not discovered in the latest scan.

This report contains the following subreports.

C04b — Staleness Analysis of Discovery Data – Drill Down I

This subreport of the Staleness Analysis of Discovery Data report displays asset details, such as the product categorization tier 1 of the asset and the total number of assets available within it. This report consists of sections based on product categorization.

C04c — Staleness Analysis of Discovery Data – Drill Down II

This subreport of the Stale Analysis of Discovery Data report displays the CIs of a specific product category in the Staleness Analysis report. When you select a specific product category in the Staleness Analysis of Discovery Data – Drill Down I report, its CIs are displayed here.
