Issue in SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence 3.1 and 4.0 digital certificate

Warning

SAP has identified an issue in Web Intelligence 3.1 and 4.0. A Java Runtime certificate is scheduled to expire on September 8, 2013, which might cause BMC Analytics for BSM to display a warning when you try to run a SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence software report. If you have recently updated the java plugin in your web browser, might not be able to proceed to your Web Intelligence report after closing the warning message.

Workaround: To resolve this issue, you must apply a patch to your software to update your server deployment.

To download the patches that are required to update your software, visit the SAP Service Marketplace website at http://service.sap.com/java-webi-certificate. If you cannot access the website, contact BMC Customer Support to obtain the patch files.

You must apply the required patch before September 8th, 2013, to avoid disruptions while using the software.
