System requirements

The BMC compatibility matrix contains the system requirements for each of the following components:

  • Operating systems and versions
  • SAP BusinessObjects versions
  • BMC Atrium Single Sign-On versions
  • BMC Remedy AR System server database types
  • Browsers
  • Application servers

Find out how to access the BMC compatibility matrix by viewing Checking-the-compatibility-matrix-for-system-requirements-and-supported-configurations. For hardware prerequisites, see Hardware-requirements. For information about prerequisite products, see Prerequisite-products.

Note

If you use SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI R3.1 Fix Pack 1.3 on Microsoft Windows 2003, you must install the Update for Windows Server 2003 (KB925336) patch that is available from http://support.microsoft.com/kb/925336 before you install the SAP BusinessObjects Fix Pack. The Fix Pack 1.3 is not required if you are installing R3.1 SP2, R3.1 SP3, or R3.1 SP4.
