P06 - Number of Opened Problems by Investigation Drivers


This report shows, for a particular reporting period and company, how many problems were created against specific investigation drivers over a given time range.

A bar chart shows the number of problem by investigation driver. Depending on the amount of customization, the investigation drivers can be High Impact Incident, Reoccurring Incidents, Non-Routine Incident, or Other.

Usage

This report can be used to track whether a larger number of problems are linked to the same investigation drivers. In this case, there might more fundamental issues with the IT infrastructure. The report can also be used to measure the effectiveness of the Problem Management process.

Report assumptions

  • The problems with problem reported on date within the reporting period are selected.
  • The problems with problem investigation status not in closed, completed, rejected, or canceled are considered.
