Navigating the BI launch pad

When you first log on to the BI launch pad, the product opens to the Home tab.

Home tab

The Home tab provides access to reports that you have recently run or viewed, messages, alerts, and applications.

Documents tab

Reports are stored in the Documents tab.

My Documents

My Documents includes information for your personal use.

You may want to use the My Favorites folder to organize and store your ad hoc and customized reports.

Folders

Folders contains the preconfigured reports that are included with the product.

Inside Public Folders, the BMC Analytics for BSM folder includes a folder for each universe installed in your environment. Those folders contain the preconfigured reports.
