Setting up the ITSM connection ID for automated task templates


As the final step to setting up the onboarding solution, a case business analyst must update the ITSM connection ID in the following automated task processes BMC Helix Business Workflows:

  • Set up email ID and corporate account for new hire
  • New hire IT asset allocation

When the ITSM connection ID is modified, the automated tasks create two work orders in BMC Helix ITSM to handle the creation of an email ID and the allocation of assets.
