Setting up the onboarding solution


To get started with the onboarding solution, a set of steps must be completed in the following applications:

  • BMC Helix Digital Workplace Catalog
  • BMC Helix Digital Workplace Advanced
  • External portal
  • Mid Tier
  • BMC Helix Business Workflows

The configurations are required to set up a seamless experience for hiring and recruitment managers, onboarding managers, agents working on the requests, and new hires. All these steps are necessary to run the onboarding solution successfully in the customer environment.

Before you begin

Before you start configuring the onboarding solution, make sure that your custom line of business is created in your setup and you have permission to edit the configurations for the line of business. Learn more about creating a line of business in Defining your line of business.
