Exporting the Alumni Service Center


The next step to start implementing the Alumni Service Center is configuring it in BMC Helix Digital Workplace Advanced by first exporting it.

The out-of-the-box studio page for the Alumni Service Center is available in BMC Helix Digital Workplace Advanced for an administrator. You must export this page from BMC Helix Digital Workplace Advanced, and import it to the external portal as an external administrator.

Process for setting up the Alumni Service Center

Before you begin

  • Make sure that to-dos are configured. Learn how to enable to-dos in Enabling end user features.
  • Make sure that the external portal is provisioned for the Alumni Service Center.

To export the Alumni Service Center

  1. As an administrator in BMC Helix Digital Workplace Advanced, click Configuration > Studio.
  2. On the Customize your workspaces page, select Alumni Service Center.
  3. Click Actions > Export.
    The exported page is saved in the .zip format to your local drive.
