Integrating

HR Service Management integrates with Workday and SAP SuccessFactors. While the integration with Workday is through a Web API connection with Jitterbit, the integration with SuccessFactors is through BMC Helix iPaaS through Jitterbit Harmony.

Integrating with Workday

HR Service Management integrates seamlessly with Workday. Out of the box, ready-to-use HR services are provided in the HR Portal that can be used when you integrate with Workday.

The following HR services are available for Workday:

  • Employee Verification
  • Change of Address
  • Change of Legal Name
  • Visa letter

Important

These services can also work independently without the Workday integration by using the internal record systems. When HR Service Management is integrated with Workday, the records in Workday are used.

To integrate with Workday, you must configure the Workday connection from BMC Helix Innovation Studio by completing the following actions:

Before you begin

Make sure you meet the following requirements:

Task 1: To configure Jitterbit

Contact your Jitterbit account representative to deploy and configure Workday operations on your Jitterbit instance.

Important

While configuring your Jitterbit instance, you must note the endpoint host name of the APIs. You must provide the host name when you configure HR Service Management to use Workday APIs.

  1. Log in to BMC Helix Innovation Studio as an administrator.
  2. On the Administration tab, expand Integrations.
