Viewing and renaming onboarding task categories
Task category labels
A case business analyst can change the labels for the task categories. However, you cannot add new task categories.
For example, you can change the Joining day tasks label to Day 1 tasks.
The label is reflected in the Onboarding Portal:
Process to personalize the onboarding flow
The following image shows the process to personalize the onboarding flow and the current step that you are on:
To rename a task category
- In the Onboarding Portal, click Settings.
- Expand Content Management, and select Manage Content.
- Search for the Onboarding Request use case, and select it.
- From the menu items, click .
- On the Human Resource settings page, expand Onboarding, and click Onboarding task categories.
- Select a category and click Edit.
- On the Edit onboarding task category page, click Localize.
- On the Localize value page, specify a different name for English - United States.
- (Optional) To localize the field name, specify the term in the respective languages.
- Click Save.
To delete or disable a task category
- In the Onboarding Portal, click Settings.
- Expand Content Management, and select Manage Content.
- Search for the Onboarding Request use case, and select it.
- From the menu items, click .
- On the Human Resource settings page, expand Onboarding, and click Onboarding task categories.
- To delete a category, select it, and click Delete.
- To disable a category, select a category, and complete the following steps:
- Click Edit.
- On the Edit onboarding task category page, change the status to Inactive.
- Click Save.
