Resource availability console
The Resource Availability Console provides a single point for Resource Managers and Resource Masters to manage the planned hours of all the Resource Contributors.
To access the Resource Availability Console, log in to the Portfolio Management application and click Resources > Resource Availability.
The following table describes Resource Availablity console UI elements:

Access menus | Navigate to the following options available in the BMC Helix Portfolio Management application:

Messages: Shows the notifications for your profile. For example, when a project task is assigned to the currently logged in user, they will get a notification that will appear under this bell icon. | ||
Application Settings: Shows the configuration settings in BMC Helix Portfolio Management. For more information, see Administering. | ||
Application Launcher: Contains all the applications, created within Innovation Studio. For more information, refer to Viewing Reports. | ||
My Profile: Displays the following user options:

2 | Workspace | List of planned hours related to the person. |
3 | Virtual Timecard ID | Open planned hour record. |
4 | Person | Enter or select the name of the user that you want to consult planned hours assigned. |
5 | Search grid | Search for planned hours by entering the keywords or virtual timecard ID. |
6 | Filter the listed records by entering or selecting values. For example, you want to view planned hours with type 'Full - Time'. To view these records, in the Filter list, select Full - Time from the Assignment Type field and click Apply. You can use preset filters that are readily available to narrow down your search. Preset filters are filters that are available out of the box. Learn more about creating filters in Defining filter presets to search records. | |
