Configuring Competencies

In the BMC Helix Portfolio Management application, the term Competencies refers to the Skills, Courses and Certificates. These elements collectively form the core data structure that supports various functionalities within the resource management operations.   
Users can import Competencies (pre-existing data) of their organizations within the Helix Portfolio Management application via one-time Excel import during installation. Additionally, the application allows configuring new Skills, Courses and Certificates under the Resource Management Settings.
