Approving and rejecting resource requests

When a resource request is in Waiting for Approval status, an approval is triggered, and a notification is sent to the approvers of the resource group, set on the resource request.

Approvers of the resource group evaluate, review, and re-consider the resource request.

To approve or reject a resource request from the Approval Console

Only the approvers of the resource group can approve or reject a resource request from the Approval console.

Once a resource request is approved, the status is updated automatically to Approved and a new resource assignment is created (for resource requests of the Type: Group), or the functionality to create resource assignments is enabled (for resource requests of the Type: Individual). If the resource request is rejected then the resource request moves automatically to Cancelled status.
