Managing My Trainings


Users can add, remove or update their trainings from the My Trainings console. This console is available for all the users having resource contributor permission to manage their trainings. 

To access the My Trainings console, log in to the Portfolio Management application and navigate to My Profile > My Competencies > Trainings > Launch.

Search for trainings by entering the course name or keywords.

You can use preset filters that are readily available to narrow down your search. Preset filters are filters that are available out of the box. Learn more about creating filters in Defining filter presets to search records.

Modify the visible columns in the workspace.

To add a new Training

1. Log in to the Portfolio Management application. 

2. Navigate to My Profile > My Competencies > Trainings > Launch.

3. Click add.pngAdd Training to create a new training and fill in the below details.  

Field

Description

Course

Select a course from the dropdown. 

Training Date 

Mention the date of the training. 

Valid Until

Mention the end date of the validity of the training. 

Status 

Select the status of the training. 

  • Under Consideration
  • Planned 
  • Attended 
  • Not Attended  
  • Expired/Obsolete

Cost 

Put the cost of training. 

Comment

Provide comment to the training record.  

4. Click Save.

To edit/update a Training

1. Log in to the Portfolio Management application. 

2. Navigate to My Profile > My Competencies > Trainings > Launch.

3. Click on the required Course name in the workspace. 

4. On the Edit Training page, apply the changes. 

5. Click Save.

To delete a Training

1. Log in to the Portfolio Management application.

2. Navigate to My Profile > My Competencies > Trainings > Launch.

3. Select the training to delete and click (delete.png) Remove Training.  

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
