Setting Predecessors and Successors in a task
The following users can set the tasks for predecessors and successors in the task:
- Task member of the project team
- Project manager of the project
- Portfolio/Program manager of the portfolio/program
- Portfolio/Project masters
- Project manager with additional write access to the project
The predecessor's and successor's tasks are related to the same sprint or phase. In the case of subtasks, the predecessor's and successor's tasks are related to the same parent task.
Tasks in Backlog status or closed tasks (Done or Cancelled status), are not allowed to set predecessor's and successor's tasks.
Predecessors and successors relationships are deleted automatically when a task is unrelated to sprint and phase.
