Annotation | Description |
---|---|
1 | A red dotted line in the diagram symbolizes the current day. |
2 | The Gantt chart not only allows better business statements and decisions to be made but also allows the duration of entities to be easily adjusted. With the mouse pointer, users can stretch or compress the bar of a task, and thus the duration can be varied. (Here, the blue bar helps in rescheduling the dates.) This can also be done via the Start and End column or via the Duration column of the table. Note - The updated row gets highlighted in blue when making any changes in the Start Date, End Date and Duration. Also, the data is sorted by Start Date with dependency values adjusted to the new positions. |
3 | The black lines on the chart show the dependency of the Tasks, Sprints and Phases. Gantt Chart allows easy application of the dependency of tasks. With the mouse pointer, users can connect one task with the other creating a dependency among the tasks. This can also be done via the Dependency column of the table. The users can provide the index number of the entity name in the Dependency column and the dependency will be created and reflected in the Chart with a black line. Note - The updated row gets highlighted in blue when defining a dependency or making any change. Also, the data is sorted by Start Date with dependency values adjusted to the new positions. |
