Voting for an idea

Any Idea Contributor can access any Idea in the status Below Review Threshold and can vote up or vote down.

To vote for an Idea

  1. Access the idea management console, in two ways:
    • Log in to the Portfolio Management application and navigate to Workspaces > Ideas.
    • Log in to BMC Helix Digital Workplace and click the Idea tab.
  2. To open an idea on the Ideas workspace, click the required idea ID.
  3. On the idea details page, you can vote up by clicking image2022-2-25_10-37-19.pngif you think the idea is interesting for the organization, or vote down by clicking image2022-2-25_10-38-59.pngotherwise.
  4. Automatically Vote Count of the idea is incremented or decremented in order of the Rating Value parameter specified in Configuring-Idea-Management.
  5. You can consult who people have voted up or voted down on the idea in the Vote History tab.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
