BMC Helix Portfolio Management Settings
This topic covers setting up default managers for different modules and discusses how to whitelist HTML tags and domains.
To set Default Managers for different modules
The BMC Helix Portfolio Management application asks you to set default managers for different modules of the application. This includes,
- Default Idea Manager
- Default Program Manager
- Default Portfolio Manager
The respective default managers get assigned automatically whenever a new Idea, Program or Portfolio is created.

To whitelist HTML tags and domains in Rich Text Editors
The whitelist contains a configurable list of allowed HTML tags, attributes and protocols that we can use in Rich Text Editors. Post-deployment the string will be there but only admins can add any new HTML tag for which they need support. In general, this parameter does not require any configuration. To access the configuration parameter:
- Log in to the Portfolio Management application, and click Settings
