Configuring Notification
BMC Helix Portfolio Management provides email and alert notifications to the users on the occurrence of different events. Different users get different notifications depending on their roles in the application. For more details, see Notification Matrix.
This topic guides you on how to configure Notifications within your BMC Helix Portfolio Management environment.
To configure notifications
Please note to perform the below steps, you must be a Remedy Administrator.
- Log in to the Mid Tier as an administrator.
- Open the CTM:People Form and search for People records.
- Select a User from the list and click the Notifications tab.
- Go to the Notification Availability field and select Yes. Choose the Notification Language per the user's preference.
- From the IS Notify Mechanism field, choose Alert and Email.
- Click Save.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
