Viewing Reports
As a reporting user, you can view interactive reports for the Portfolio Management application by leveraging the capabilities of BMC Helix Dashboards. BMC Helix Dashboards offers unified reporting that gives you a consolidated view of complex data. You can easily export and share the Portfolio Management application reports with users within or outside your environment.
To access BMC Helix Dashboards
- Log in to the Portfolio Management application.
- Click Application Launcher
icon > BMC Helix Dashboards.
BMC Helix Dashboards contain reports that have been intuitively grouped into dashboards. The following dashboards are available in BMC Helix Dashboards for the Portfolio Management application:
Dashboard name | Description |

Idea Management | Shows statistics on ideas based on their portfolio, statuses, and type. |
Demand Management | This dashboard helps in the analysis of the cost and risk metrics on demands. |
Project Management | Shows the overall project status reports, cost metrics, and variations on project estimates. |
Portfolio Dashboard | This dashboard gives users a cumulative view of the progress on all the portfolios. |
Portfolio Dashboard Detail | Shows the project completion details on all the portfolios |
Resource Management | This dashboard gives a very detailed view of the resource utilization, qualifications, resource group and their members, resource availability, requested and assigned hours from different sources, etc |
Printable Project | This dashboard shows a printable and sharable version of the project dashboard which gives details specific to a project. |
Printable Portfolio | This dashboard shows a printable and sharable version of the portfolio dashboard which gives details specific to a portfolio. |
