Approving and rejecting resource requests

When a resource request is in Waiting for Approval status, an approval is triggered, and a notification is sent to the approvers of the resource group that is set on the resource request.

Approvers of the resource group evaluate, review, and re-consider the resource request.

To approve or reject a resource request from the Approval Console

Approvers of the resource group only can approve or reject a resource request from the Approval console.

Once a resource request is approved, the status is updated automatically to 'Approved' and a new resource assignment is created (for resource request of the type group), or the functionality to create resource assignments is enabled (for resource requests of the type individual). If the resource request is rejected then the resource request moves automatically to 'Cancelled' status.
