Setting additional access for a project


The project manager assigned and the portfolio manager can set additional access to other project managers for the project.

The additional access can be:

  • Read: the additional project manager can access the project, sprints or phases, tasks, related activities and documents, and he/she can create new activities related and documents.
  • Write: the additional project manager can access and modify the project, create and modify sprints or phases and tasks, and he/she can access and create new activities related and documents.

Project managers who have been added additional access to a project can access the project from Project-management-console

To add read access to a project manager in a project

  1. Log in to the Portfolio Management application
  2. Navigate to Workspaces > Projects.
  3. To open a project on the Projects workspace, click the required project ID.
  4. Go Additional Access tab and click the 'Add Read Access' button.
  5. On the blade page Select Project Manager, select the project manager who you want to add read access to the project and click 'Select'.

To add write access to a project manager in a project

  1. Log in to the Portfolio Management application
  2. Navigate to Workspaces > Projects.
  3. To open a project on the Projects workspace, click the required project ID.
  4. Go Additional Access tab and click the 'Add Write Access' button.
  5. On the blade page Select Project Manager, select the project manager who you want to add write access to the project and click 'Select'.

To delete additional access to a project

  1. Log in to the Portfolio Management application
  2. Navigate to Workspaces > Projects.
  3. To open a project on the Projects workspace, click the required project ID.
  4. Go Additional Access tab.
  5. Select project manager with additional access from the list and click the 'Delete Access' button.
  6. A confirmation dialogue window is showed.
  7. Click 'Yes'.
