Gantt Chart
Gantt view allows you to view and group associated tasks, sprints, and phases, change scheduled start/end dates, and easily identify dependencies, task scheduling errors, and overlap, with drag and drop functionality.
This Gantt chart can be opened by the Project Manager assigned, Portfolio/Program Manager of the parent portfolio/program, Project Masters, and Portfolio Masters.
Gannt is not available in 'Draft' status projects.
Tasks in 'Backlog' status are not included in the Gannt chart.
The following figure shows the options once you access the Idea console.

2 | The black lines on the chart show the dependency of the Tasks, Sprints and Phases. |
3 | The Gantt chart not only allows better business statements and decisions to be made but also allows the duration and dependency of tasks to be easily adjusted. With the mouse pointer, the bar of a task and thus the duration can be varied. (Here, the blue bar with the mouse helps in rescheduling the dates.). This can also be done via the start and end field or via duration. |
4 | If the Task is to be opened directly in the Portfolio Management application, the bar can be selected, and the object can be called via the pencil icon. |
5 | Zoom in and out of the chart can also be done. |
6 | Tasks conflicts if any can also be resolved from the chart by simply moving the start and end dates with the help of a mouse. |
To open Gantt Chart
- Log in to the Portfolio Management application.
- Navigate to Workspaces > Projects and open a project on the Projects workspace by clicking the required project ID.
- On the project header page, click Gantt.
