Changing idea statuses
When an idea is created, by default, its status is set to Below Review Threshold. As an Idea Manager assigned, you can move it to different statuses throughout its lifecycle.
To change an idea's status
- Log in to the Portfolio Management application.
- Navigate to Workspace > Ideas.
- To open an idea on the Ideas workspace, click the required idea ID.
- On the idea details page, click Edit.
Select the required value in the Status field.
The following table lists the required status change based on actions you can perform on an idea:

Below Review Threshold
The idea manager considers that the idea is enough interesting to start reviewing all the details entered by the idea contributor.
Important: If the idea review threshold matches the voting counts, then by default idea goes in 'Under Review' status automatically.
Under Review
The idea manager cancels the idea based on the below reasons:
- Duplicate.
- Not Relevant.
- No Business Justification.
Cancelled
Under Review
The idea manager reconsiders that the idea review threshold has to match the voting counts to start reviewing the idea.
Below Review Threshold
The idea manager cancels the idea based on the below reasons:
- Duplicate.
- Not Relevant.
- No Business Justification.
Cancelled
- Click Save.
