Configure working hours
Manage Working Hours console shows the working hours or shifts that can be worked upon in the organization. The working hours record holds the number of hours that can be worked, in a week.
To access to this console log in to the Portfolio Management application, click Settings and click Resource Management > Allocation > Working Hours. It is accessible by the Resource Master and the Agility Admin users.
To create Working Hours Configuration
- Log in Portfolio Management application and click Settings .
- Go to Resource Management > Allocation > Working Hours.
- Click on the '
New' button to create a new Working Hours record.

Status | The status field has two options namely, Active and Inactive. The default status after the creation of a working hours record is "Active". To remove the usage of an already configured working hour record, change the status to "Inactive". This will disallow the creation of new allocated working hours records for that working hours record. |
Note: The Working Hours record that is already in use on an Allocated Working Hours record cannot be edited. To avoid its further usage its status must be set to 'Inactive'.
To Modify Working Hours
- Log in Portfolio Management application and click Settings .
- Go to Resource Management > Allocation > Working Hours.
- Click on the display id of the working hours record or select the row and click on the Edit (
) button.
- Make the necessary modifications.
- Click on Save.
To Delete Working Hours
- Log in Portfolio Management application and click Settings .
- Go to Resource Management > Allocation > Working Hours.
- Select the row and click on the Delete (
) button.
Note that only those Working Hours records can be deleted that are not already used in Allocated Working Hours.
