Configuring Notification


BMC Helix Portfolio Management provides email and alert notifications. For example: When a task is assigned to a user, an email notification is sent and a notification icon appears in the bell icon on Innovation Studio. The user can see the details by clicking the link in the email or by tapping on the bell icon.

You must be a Remedy Administrator to configure notifications. 

  1. Log in to the Mid Tier as an administrator.
  2. Open the CTM:People Form and search for People records.
  3. Select a User from the list and click Notifications tab.
  4. From the field Notification Availability select Yes and choose the Notification Language as per the user's preference.
  5. From the field IS Notify Mechanism, choose Alert and Email.
  6. Save your changes.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
