Searching for Suitable Resource via Competency Search


This topic guides you on how users can add filters and search for the right resource for the projects and requirements. These operations can be performed by Resource Managers and Resource Masters. 

To add a filter for the search for the resource

1. Log in to the Portfolio Management application and go to Resources > Competency Search.

2. Navigate to Filter Type and select one option from the dropdown. The option selected in the filter determines or modifies the later filters.

3. Fill in the latter filters. 

4. Set the Filter match percentage and click Add filter. You will see the filter added and the results for the added filter. 

5. Repeat the process to add different/more filters.

Important

Users can save the applied filters by clicking the Save filter as preset. And can use the Load filters to load saved filter presets or search by the filter of a job profile. 

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
