Setting notification preferences
Administrator, case business analyst, and case agent can customize their notification preferences for a line of business. This capability helps you receive only relevant alerts or emails, reducing unnecessary interruptions and providing a personalized user experience.
You can unsubscribe from specific events to stop receiving notifications. You can also view the list of unsubscribed events and access the notifications preferences in your preferred locale.
To set notification preferences
- Click your name at the top right corner of the page and select My notifications.
- Click the All events tab and select the event for which you want to disable the notifications.
- Click Unsubscribe.
- To turn on the notifications for an unsubscribed event, select an event from the Unsubscribed events tab and click Subscribe.
Under the All events tab, you can view all the events for which you are currently receiving notifications. The events that have active templates are displayed in the All events tab. Unsubscribed events tab displays all the events for which you have turned off the notifications. You can keep a track of users who have subscribed and unsubscribed to the events by auditing a log in Notification User Preferences record definition.
If you create a custom notification from a default notification, you will see the same event available both globally and for custom notification.
